Erika De La Cruz, an outgoing boss babe with an electric personality and a passion for encouraging and inspiring women to take the plunge into becoming an empowered entrepreneur interviewed Erin Moody, co-owner of Farm and Field Events on her show "Passion to Paycheck" yesterday. Erika describes a female entrepreneur as a woman who courageously seeks happiness above all else while making the world a better place, and a woman with big ambition and a success mindset who pursues happiness and serves others by turning her passion(s) into a paycheck. Erin described how she and her husband started Farm & Field Events with two farm tables and a styled photoshoot. Erin and Erika chatted about taking the "first" steps into starting a business and how maintaining meaningful relationships with your businesse's industry is so important. Erin also spoke about how a low point in her life pushed her into following her dreams of owning a business where her creative side could bloom. She spoke of her road to recovery after her cancer diagnosis in 2015 and how she stayed positive through the treatments and procedures and that positivity can cure just about anything and how the law of attraction brings forth what you focus on. Erin spoke about how focusing on positivity and letting your emotions be your internal compass to guide you on your path to success. Starting a business can be challenging but above all it should be fun and exciting and with supportive women who value community over competition the sky is the limit!
Erin and Erika met when Brittany Soinski, Erika's good friend, reached out to Farm & Field Events to collaborate with some pretty rad vendors and fellow female entrepreneurs for Erika's "Boss Babe Bridal Shower". Brittany hosted the gorgeous event at her home in Escondido, CA. Along with the uber talented Soiree Floral Design and Hostess Haven, Brittany's beautiful home was transformed into a dreamy atmosphere.
